What an emotional rollercoaster the pandemic has been. From shear terror to pure hope and joy. This calendar, is a hymn to the vaccinated of 2021, when everything will return in exaggeration... as long as we get vaccinated.
"Shoot" me baby one more time
The year of the vaccinated, is the 2021 calendar from IMBA. An ode to all the things we missed and long for to return. And when everything is back to normal, we will be bold and fearless! Exaggeration will be the motto of ’21 and all things will be carried out in epic proportions. The revenge of the lockdown will be another kind of purge. People will camp in bars and pubs, trousers will fit 3 persons, cheek to cheek will be the norm in all public transportation and we will even hug the pizza boy.
IMBA’s concept as hilarious as it is, it is also very true. It summarises perfectly the hibernated energy of the people. Waiting patiently, our return to normality will mostly likely be animosity. The “pandemic depression”, in all of us, will swiftly be overtaken by extravagant acts, even in the everyday tasks and little things, as a bold statement of reinstituting life “as we know it”.
