Coco-Mat hotels magazine.
The Coco-Mat hospitality concept is a celebration of nature and authenticity. Natural materials, handcrafted sleeping creations and the desire to offer indulgent, tailor-made experiences are at the basis of the Coco-Mat philosophy, redefining hospitality in Greece.
A magazine with a twist
Coco-Mat hotels Greece and publishing house Cozy publications, approached our design studio in order to continue and enrich the design of Coco magazine, of Coco-Mat Hotels. Coco magazine, is a six-monthly lifestyle magazine, which is available free of charge to hotel tenants and consists of a variety of topics.
Inspired by Coco-Mat’s philosophy and the values of its hotels, we extended the visual identity of the issue with clean typographic lines and organic forms in the magazine’s iconography. With this choice, we managed to maintain a good balance between textual flow in the articles and visual, graphic and photo elements. The notion behind the art direction, was emphasised and complemented by a unique typeface for the headers and titles, which carries both romantic elements, purity in its presence as well as organic forms – thus giving the titles, an excess of grace and finesse, completing the overall aesthetics of the issue.
