Red Dot Design Award 2025 for 72H & Ergon Originals Packaging.

Boo Republic has been awarded two Red Dot Design Awards 2025 in the Packaging Design category for the 72H Flour Line and Ergon Originals projects, created for Ergon Foods S.A. The international distinction highlights the studio’s commitment to culturally resonant, concept driven, and visually impactful packaging design.

Boo Republic is proud to announce that two of its packaging design projects — 72H Flour Line and Ergon Originals — have been honoured with the internationally acclaimed Red Dot Design Award 2025 in the Packaging Design category.

Recognized globally as one of the most respected distinctions in contemporary design, the Red Dot Design Award celebrates excellence, innovation, and outstanding creative achievement across industries. Receiving this recognition for two separate projects in the same year marks an important milestone for Boo Republic and further reinforces the studio’s commitment to concept-driven, merticulous crafted, and culturally resonant design.

Developed for Ergon Foods S.A., both projects approach packaging as a storytelling medium — translating authenticity, craftsmanship, and contemporary visual culture into distinctive brand experiences.

The 72H Flour Line packaging was designed around the concept of merging artisanal tradition with a forward-looking visual language. Through bold colour coding, minimalist compositions, and a sleek monospaced typographic system, the packaging establishes a clear and intuitive product hierarchy while creating a striking contrast between traditional bread-making culture and contemporary design aesthetics. Spanning both retail and professional-use formats, the system reflects the philosophy of 72H: honouring slow craftsmanship through a modern visual expression.

In parallel, Ergon Originals was conceived as a celebration of Greek heritage, craftsmanship, and local production. The packaging system draws inspiration from traditional weaving patterns, embroidered motifs, and the visual identity of Mediterranean culture, combining structured grid layouts with warm handwritten details and geographic references tied to each producer’s origin. Designed to elevate a wide range of artisanal Greek products, the identity balances premium positioning with emotional authenticity, creating a packaging language deeply rooted in place and cultural memory.

For Boo Republic, receiving two Red Dot distinctions in Packaging Design within the same year represents both a meaningful honour and a strong validation of the studio’s design philosophy — one that merges conceptual depth, visual clarity, and market relevance.

Boo Republic extends its gratitude to the Red Dot jury, to the collaborators and creatives involved in the projects, and especially to Ergon Foods S.A. and its in-house team members whose trust and collaboration helped bring both projects to life.
